Critter Control Ranked #16 In Top 100 U.S. Pest Management Companies
Traverse City, MI — June 1, 2009 - Pest Control Technology magazine’s annual ‘Top 100’ list for 2008 was just released, and Critter Control® was ranked as the 16th largest pest control firm in the U.S., up from #20 just two years ago.
Critter Control’s founder and CEO Kevin Clark shares the credit with his 130 franchisees, who, year-after-year help grow the Critter Control brand. "We believe we’ll see this strong growth pattern for years to come, despite the economy. The animals don’t know there’s a recession, and the homeowner with animals in the attic knows that it’s a necessity and not a luxury to get them out. We have a great team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about integrating education, prevention and habitat modification with full-service wildlife management solutions,” said Clark. Mr. Clark started the business 27 years ago when he pulled his first raccoon out of a smoke stack as a chimney sweep. Shortly thereafter, he trademarked Critter Control and then began franchising in 1987.
Critter Control was also recently ranked #24 in the Top 50 Franchise Systems having 50 – 200 units by the Franchise Business Review and has been Franchise 500 Ranked by Entrepreneur Magazine since 1998.
With over 130 franchise locations operating in North America, Critter Control has established a unique market category for itself in the animal/pest control industry providing wildlife management solutions which are environmentally sound and ecologically responsible through highly trained and skilled Certified Wildlife Specialists.
